Our place, Peacock Home Appliances Pvt Ltd, is over in Pira Garhi, specifically at Miyanwali Nagar RR -29. It’s a solid location for us. We have all kinds of home stuff here, things people use every day in their kitchens or living rooms. The space at RR -29 is where we keep everything stacked up. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around most days. We get a lot of people from the nearby areas coming in to see what we have. It’s not a quiet job. There is always the sound of someone unboxing something or testing a motor. We try to keep the aisles clear, but with so many appliances, it’s a constant struggle. We’ve been operating out of Pira Garhi for a long time. The staff here is mostly local people who know the streets well. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. We just talk to people like normal and show them how the machines work. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but that’s just life here. We have our routines, like the morning cleaning and the late afternoon tea break. It’s a busy environment but we like it that way. If you find yourself in Miyanwali Nagar, you’ll probably see our sign. We are just a group of people trying to run a straightforward business and keeping things moving. It gets dusty, it gets loud, but it’s our work and we take it as it comes.
