P. K. Exports

Down in East Patel Nagar, specifically at 11/16, is where you’ll find P. K. Exports. We spend a lot of our time dealing with paperwork and boxes. Exporting sounds like a big, complicated thing, but for us, it’s mostly just making sure things get from one place to another without getting lost or broken. The office is tucked away and isn't the easiest to find if you aren't looking for it. We have piles of ledgers and old shipping receipts everywhere. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s just a few rooms where we take orders and talk to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and other times it's dead silent. We’ve been in East Patel Nagar for quite some time now, so we know the neighborhood pretty well. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the ropes of the business. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the paperwork gets a little ahead of us. Shipping schedules can be a headache, especially when things get delayed at the port or the trucks are late. We just deal with those things as they come up. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we’re just making a living by moving goods around and keeping our clients happy enough to come back.
