We are located in the White House building on Rani Jhansi Road, though it’s not as grand as the name might make you think. It is just 1/18-20, a practical set of rooms where we manage the steel side of things. Most of our day is spent dealing with multicolor sheets and structural parts that go out to construction sites all over. The office stays pretty cluttered with blueprints and little pieces of metal samples that everyone trips over. It’s a busy road outside, so there is always a background noise of horns and traffic that we’ve just learned to ignore over time. We don’t have a fancy reception area with a bowl of mints or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us arguing about a delivery schedule or trying to fix the printer again. We aren't interested in looking polished for the sake of it. The work gets done because the people here know their business and they don't waste time on fluff. We’ve seen the seasons change from these windows for quite a while now. The rain hits the glass pretty hard in the monsoon, and the rooms get stuffy in the summer heat, but we just open the windows and keep moving. It is an honest place to spend a workday, and we are fine with that.
