Metal Guard Industries

Metal Guard Industries is tucked away in Karan Vihar Part-1. We are on Street Number 7, which is part of the Kirari Extension in the Nangloi area. It’s a residential and industrial mix, so the streets are very narrow and always full of kids playing or people hauling goods. Our workshop is Rz-404. It’s a place where we focus on protecting metal from the elements. We have various coatings and treatments that we use throughout the day. The smell of the chemicals is pretty strong, so we try to keep the exhaust fans running as much as possible. It can get quite cramped when we have a lot of metal pieces waiting to be worked on. We have to move things around constantly to make space to walk. The people working here are mostly locals from around Nangloi. We don't have any big corporate rules or handbooks. We just show up and do what needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back, chatting about the neighborhood. It’s a simple setup without any bells and whistles. We don't spend time on fancy presentations. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the guard coatings and making sure nothing is rusting. It’s a honest, local business in a busy and crowded part of Delhi.
