Manjeet Overseas

You can find us at Wz-5/A in the Punjabi Market area of Vishnu Garden Part-I. Being in a market like this means there is never a dull moment. Manjeet Overseas is tucked away in a spot that gets quite a lot of foot traffic. We have a small shop front that doesn't look like much from the outside but we have a lot going on inside. There are boxes stacked up to the ceiling in some parts because we run out of floor space quickly. The Punjabi Market is a busy place so there is always someone shouting or a scooter honking nearby. We have a small fan that hums loudly to keep the air moving during the summer months. It is mostly just a few of us here handling the orders and making sure the labels are correct. Sometimes we get the addresses mixed up and have to start over but we usually catch it before things go out. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a small stove to boil water. The walls have old calendars hanging on them and some scribbled phone numbers near the door. It is a practical space for practical work. We spend a lot of time on our feet moving things back and forth. Vishnu Garden is a busy part of town and we fit right in with the rest of the small shops around here.
