Our office is tucked away in Sagarpur at Wx-50 C in Vashist Park. It's a crowded area of Delhi, and finding a parking spot nearby can be a real headache on most days. We spend most of our time looking at resumes and talking to people who are looking for work. The phone rings a lot here. Usually, it's someone asking if there are any openings in a warehouse or a local factory. We have a few desks and some old filing cabinets that have definitely seen better days. It's not a shiny office with glass walls or anything like that. It feels more like a regular home that someone turned into a workspace. People come in from the neighborhood or take the bus from further away to see us. We try to keep track of everyone’s names, but it gets busy and things get a bit jumbled. The fan overhead makes a steady clicking sound that we’ve just gotten used to over the months. Sometimes we just sit around and drink tea while waiting for a client to call us back with news. It’s a lot of matching people to places where they can earn a decent living. We don't have a marketing team. It’s just us handling the documents and making sure people show up for their scheduled interviews. The street outside is always noisy with kids playing or vendors selling their vegetables. It is a very local kind of operation. We just do what we can with what we have here.
