S G Placement & Consultant is based over in Sector 20, at E-150. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. It’s a quiet residential-style area, so it doesn't feel like a big corporate office. We like it that way. Most of the time it’s just two or three of us in the room, going through stacks of resumes and making phone calls to different companies. We help people find jobs, mostly local ones. It’s satisfying when someone calls back to say they got the position. The office has a few old wooden desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't spend money on fancy furniture because it doesn't really help us do the job better. We just need a phone and a computer. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to say hello. It feels like a small community here in Sector 20. We don't have any big slogans or promises. We just tell people we will look at their skills and see if any of our clients are hiring. Sometimes we have to tell people we don't have anything for them, which is the hard part of the job. But we stay honest about it. E-150 is a bit hard to find if you aren't looking closely at the house numbers, but once you're here, it’s a friendly place to be.
