K.S. Steel Works

K.S. Steel Works is situated at No.34A in Sewak Park, which is very close to the Dwarka Metro Station in Uttam Nagar. Because we are so close to the metro, there is always a lot of foot traffic and noise from the trains passing by overhead. Our shop is where we do all the welding and steel fabrication. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have a lot of tools and raw materials taking up space. You’ll usually see us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of soot or grease from the machines we use. We’ve been in Uttam Nagar for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Our daily routine involves a lot of grinding and sparks flying, which is just part of the job. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we get the work done. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy with a torch or a saw. Sometimes we have to move our work out onto the edge of the street when we are handling larger pieces of steel. It’s a busy, noisy life here at Sewak Park. We just take it one project at a time and try to keep our customers satisfied with what we make for them. No fancy words are needed, just hard work and a bit of sweat.
