We’re located at 11/16 on the ground floor in East Patel Nagar. It’s a decent-sized spot for the kind of things we have. We keep a lot of traditional items here, mostly stuff that feels like it has a bit of history. The shop isn't shiny or modern. It’s more like a room full of things we like. We spend our days unpacking crates and setting things out so people can actually see them. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cramped when a lot of people come in at once, but we manage. We aren’t interested in being a big chain store. We like being in this neighborhood where people walk by on their way to the market. We have regular customers who stop in just to say hello and see if we’ve gotten anything new. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. If you like something, you buy it. If not, that's fine too. We try to keep the dust off the shelves, but it's a constant battle. The ground floor is handy because we don’t have to lug heavy boxes up any stairs. We usually have the door open to let some air in, so you can hear the sounds of Patel Nagar all day. It’s just a normal place run by people who appreciate the craft. We’ve been here for years and we hope to stay for many more.
