K. S. & Sons

You can find K. S. & Sons over in the Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase 1. Our address is B-75, and if you know Mayapuri, you know it’s a place where things actually get built. It’s a rugged part of Delhi, full of workshops and small factories. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while now. The building is solid and serves its purpose well. There’s no fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and see people working. We deal with various industrial tasks and our hands are rarely clean by the end of the day. The sounds of metal clashing and machines running are just background noise to us now. We take our tea breaks standing up most of the time, just chatting about the orders or what needs to be fixed in the shop. The traffic in Phase 1 can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our loading done early. It’s a family-run kind of atmosphere even though we have a few extra hands helping out. We don’t spend much on decorations or making things look pretty for visitors. We’d rather spend that time making sure the equipment is running right. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but our little corner at B-75 stays pretty much the same.
