Our place, Jindal Steel, is located at Plot No-F-1 in Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II. We are right near DD Motors, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. Being in an industrial area means it’s always loud and there are trucks moving in and out constantly. We handle a lot of steel here, mostly large orders for construction and manufacturing. It’s a gritty environment, full of dust and the sound of metal hitting metal. We don't have a fancy showroom; it’s mostly just the yard and a small office where we handle the invoices. The guys working here have been around steel for a long time, so they know what they are doing. We spend our days loading and unloading, making sure the right grade of steel goes to the right customer. It’s a lot of manual labor and it can be tiring, especially when the weather is hot. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of our business is done over the phone or with people who just drive up to the gate. We’ve been in Mayapuri for quite a while now and have seen many businesses come and go. We just keep our heads down and focus on the steel. It's a tough business but it's honest work and we take pride in getting the orders out on time. There's not much more to it than that, just keeping the metal moving.
