Janak Industries Pvt. Ltd. is located at 18/35, Street No. 5, right by the railway line side in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area. Being near the tracks means we hear the trains go by all day long, which is a sound you just get used to after a week or two. It’s a gritty part of town, full of workshops and small factories. Our place isn't big, but it’s ours. We have a narrow entrance that leads into the main work area. It’s usually pretty packed with materials and tools. We don't have a lot of extra space, so we have to be careful about where we put things. The street outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, and there’s always someone moving a cart or a truck blocking the way. We’ve been here at Street No. 5 for quite some time now. The neighbors are all doing similar work, so there’s a sense of being in it together. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of marketing people. We just have our hands and our machines. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but we keep the doors open mostly. We focus on getting through the daily list of things to do. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work in a busy industrial neighborhood. We just do our best with what we have every single day.
