Jamdagni Traders

Jamdagni Traders is located out in Najafgarh at Ratiram Park, Shivaji Marg 1. It is a simple place where we do our daily trading. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or high-end. The shop is just a practical space where we store our goods and meet with the people who buy from us. We’ve been here at this corner for a while now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. Shivaji Marg can get pretty clogged with trucks and rickshaws, especially in the afternoons. We usually start the day early to beat the heat and get the heavy lifting done while it’s still cool. It’s mostly local folks and small business owners who come by. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the business well. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to stay on top of the stock. It is a lot of physical work, moving boxes and checking deliveries, but it keeps us busy. We have a small bench outside where we sit and have tea when there’s a break in the work. We don't spend money on fancy signs or shiny floors. We just want to make sure the shop stays running and the people around here get what they need. It is a basic, honest way to spend the day, and we are quite content with being at Shivaji Marg 1. We know the names of most folks who walk past our gate every day.
