Jaipur Prints

Our place, Jaipur Prints, is over at RZ-44 in Raghu Nagar. We are quite close to Shree Ram Hospital, which helps people find us if they get lost near Dabri More. Pankha Road is always a bit of a mess with traffic and construction, so we are used to the constant noise outside. We spend a lot of time with fabrics and ink here. The shop is usually full of different patterns and rolls of cloth waiting to be worked on. It’s not a very big space, so things can get a bit cluttered when a big shipment comes in. We’ve been in Raghu Nagar for some time now. We just do the printing work day in and day out. It’s messy work sometimes, and our hands usually have some ink on them by the time we close up. We don’t have a fancy showroom or any big displays. People just come in, look at the samples on the table, and we talk about what they need. Most of our neighbors are other small shops and families who have been here as long as we have. We try to keep the machines running smooth, though they can be temperamental when it gets humid. When it rains, the road outside gets a bit muddy, but we keep the inside as dry as possible for the prints. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the jobs get finished on time.
