Interactive Manpower Solutions is tucked away in Lane 3 of Harinagar. If you know New Delhi, you know how these lanes can get. We are on the first floor of G-78. It’s a busy place most of the time. We spend the day looking at resumes and talking to people who need jobs. There’s always someone coming in or out. The phone is basically another limb at this point. We try to find people for different companies, mostly just matching what they need with who is looking. Harinagar is a crowded spot, so parking is always a headache for anyone visiting. We tell people to just take the bus or an auto. Inside, it’s just desks and chairs and the sound of people talking. We don't have a big corporate lobby. It’s just a workspace. Sometimes we have too many people waiting and it gets a bit cramped. We just keep going. Recruitment is a weird business because you deal with so many different personalities every day. Some people are happy, some are stressed. We just handle the paperwork and make the calls. It’s not glamorous at all. It’s just a job like any other. We’ve been here at G-78 for some time now and we know the tea stall guy around the corner pretty well. That’s our daily life here. We just try to get people hired and keep the office running smoothly. It is what it is, just hard work and long days.
