Our shop is right in the middle of Madipur JJ Colony at D 27. It's a crowded area, so things are always tight. We sell utensils, mostly for kitchens. The shelves are packed with stainless steel and aluminum stuff. Sometimes it’s hard to even find a place to sit down because there's so much stock. We've been here in this colony for a long time. People around here know us as the place to get a new pressure cooker or some plates. It gets noisy with all the metal clinking around when we unload the new stock. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just the regular shop front. My family helps out, and we usually open up early in the morning. The monsoon is a bit of a pain because the rain gets into the front sometimes, so we have to move everything back. We aren't doing anything fancy. It’s just a neighborhood store. Customers come in, look at the weight of the pots, and we chat a bit. Most people around here are regulars. If you walk down the main lane of D block, you'll see us. We don't really bother with fancy displays. We just put the stuff out where people can see it. It’s been this way for years now, and we like it that way. We keep a ledger for the regular accounts and handle everything ourselves. It's just simple retail work that keeps us connected to the folks living in the colony.
