Handicrafts & Textiles International

You can find Handicrafts & Textiles International over in the Mayapuri Industrial Area. We are at A-33, which is in Phase-I. Being in an industrial area means it’s always loud and busy around here. There are trucks moving in and out and people always on the move near the gates. We’ve got our space set up to handle all the textiles and handmade items that come through. It gets a little dusty sometimes because of all the fabric, but that’s just part of the trade. We don't have a reception desk or a fancy lobby. It’s more of a warehouse feel where the real work happens. Most of us have been working together for years. We know the layout of Phase-I like the back of our hands. It’s a tough area but it works for what we do. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get blocked with traffic, but we just manage. We handle a lot of different pieces every day. It’s a lot of sorting and checking things over. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We are just a group of people working with handicrafts and textiles in a busy part of town. If you come by A-33, you’ll see we are usually right in the middle of something. It’s a hardworking place and we like it that way. No one wears a suit here. We just get the work finished.
