Habina Exports

Habina Exports is tucked away on the third floor of number 52 in South Patel Nagar. You have to climb a few flights of stairs to get to us, which is good exercise I suppose. Our space is mostly taken up by racks of clothes and piles of fabric samples. We do a lot of checking for loose threads and making sure the colors match up before anything gets put into a box. It’s a small team here, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to taping up cartons. The light from the windows is good in the morning, which helps when we are looking at the details of the garments. Patel Nagar is a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets, which we like. We don’t have any big signs outside, just a small nameplate on the door. Sometimes the shipments arrive late and we have to stay a bit longer to get everything sorted out. We don’t really do any marketing; we just rely on the quality of the things we send out. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a new shipment comes in, and we have to shuffle boxes around just to find a place to sit and have lunch. It’s a busy little office but we manage to keep things moving.
