Gemsons Exports

You can find us over in Janak Puri, at B-1. It’s a pretty standard neighborhood in West Delhi, with a lot of houses and small businesses all mixed together. Gemsons Exports has been operating out of this spot for a long time. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with boxes, computers, and a lot of packing tape. We handle export stuff, which means there is always a lot of clicking and typing going on. The couriers are always coming and going, dropping off packets or picking up big boxes for the airport. It gets a bit crowded when a big shipment arrives and we have to find space for everything. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. People who know us just come to the door. The summers here are really hot, so the air conditioner is usually struggling to keep up. We take turns making tea for everyone in the afternoon. It’s a small group of us here, and we’ve all been working together for years. We don’t really bother with fancy titles or corporate stuff. We just make sure the orders are correct and that they get sent out when they are supposed to. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to the rhythm of it by now. Janak Puri is a good place to be, even with the parking problems.
