Emm-Kay Industries

We are over at B-9 in Mukhram Garden, right on Chowkhandi Road in the Tilak Nagar area. Our workshop is a place where we get things made and we’ve been here for a good while. Tilak Nagar is a lively neighborhood and being on Chowkhandi Road means there’s always people passing by. We are an industrial outfit, so there is usually the sound of machinery and tools throughout the day. The space we have is filled with materials and different projects we are working on. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s a working shop where real stuff happens. We started this as a small operation and it has stayed pretty much like that, which we like. We have a small crew of workers who know their jobs well. Most of our day is spent actually working on the products rather than sitting in an office. We get all sorts of requests from people in the local area and some from further out. The building at B-9 is our home away from home. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we just have to deal with it and move on. It’s just the daily grind of running a small industry. We don't use big words or try to act like we are something we aren't. We just do the work, look after our tools, and make sure we are ready for the next day.
