Double Dutch

Our small office for Double Dutch is located on the second floor of Wz 58 in Janak Park. Being in the Hari Nagar area of New Delhi means there is always something happening outside. It is a bit of a climb up to the second floor, and the stairs are narrow, so we usually tell people to watch their step. The space is not very big, but it fits what we need for now. We have some boxes piled up in the corner and a few desks pushed together. Delhi summers can get pretty brutal, so the AC is usually running full blast, making a bit of a rattling noise. We are surrounded by other small businesses and families, so it feels very grounded and real. You can hear the vegetable sellers calling out from the street below during the day. We do not have a fancy reception area or anyone in a suit greeting people at the door. It is usually just one of us getting up from a desk if someone knocks. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking through things over plastic cups of coffee. It is a simple life here in New Delhi, and we prefer it that way. We are just trying to keep the business moving forward without making things more complicated than they need to be. It is a tight-knit spot and we have grown quite fond of this dusty old building.
