Dimple Pan Shop

You can find Dimple Pan Shop right on the Faridabad City Main Road in Smilepur. It’s basically just a small spot on the side of the road where the traffic is always moving fast. I spend a lot of my day sitting on the wooden stool, watching cars go by and waiting for someone to pull over. The location in Smilepur is alright, though the dust from the main road is a constant battle. I have to keep the beetle leaves wet so they stay fresh in this heat. I usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background to pass the time. Most people who stop here are regulars who live nearby or truck drivers who need a quick break. I keep the glass jars filled with different types of supari and sweets. The counter is a bit worn out from years of use, but it holds everything I need. Sometimes when it rains, the water splashes up from the road and I have to move everything back a few inches. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. I just set out my trays every morning and pack them up at night. The streetlights are a bit dim around here, so I have my own little bulb hanging from the ceiling. It’s just a quiet way to earn a living in Faridabad. I make sure to clean the display every evening before I head home.
