Crafts & Creations is over at number 28 in the Furniture Block of Kirti Nagar. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s packed with shops and workshops everywhere you look. Our place is tucked in among them. It’s a busy spot where there is always the smell of wood or finish in the air. We have a lot of bits and pieces lying around the floor—scraps, tools, and half-finished items. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. The space isn't very large, so we have to be careful how we move things around. We spend most of our hours here, either working with our hands or sitting at the old wooden desk in the back to handle the paperwork. Kirti Nagar is always loud with the sounds of saws and people talking, so we usually have some music playing to keep us focused. The front door stays open most of the day to let in some light. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the number 28 on the wall. It’s a practical workspace for us. We aren't here to impress anyone with a shiny showroom. We just like making things and staying busy in the Furniture Block. It’s a simple life for those of us at Crafts & Creations. Some days the traffic in Kirti Nagar is so bad we can't even get out of the street, but that's just part of being here. We carry on regardless.
