We are over in Rajouri Garden, at B 7/7. It’s a simple setup for people who are interested in art. The space is filled with different supplies like canvases, paints, and brushes. Depending on the time of day, you’ll find different groups of people here working on their projects. Some are just starting out and learning how to draw, while others have been coming for a long time and work on more detailed paintings. The rooms have plenty of light, which is important for what we do. It isn't a huge institution with hundreds of rooms; it’s more of a local spot in Rajouri Garden where people can come and focus on their creativity. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spills and organizing the materials after a session is over. The staff here mostly looks after the building and helps out when students need more supplies or have questions about the schedule. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that is expected in an art place. We don't follow a strict corporate style here. It’s more relaxed and based on the work people are actually doing. If you are walking around the B block area, you might see people carrying their portfolios in and out. We’ve been at this location for a while and it suits the needs of the local art community quite well. It's just a place for making art.
