We are located at G-96, Shop No 3 in Som Bazar, which is part of the Shiv Nagar Market in Hari Nagar. It’s a small shop, and the area gets incredibly busy, especially on the days when the Som Bazar market is running. You can barely walk through the street then because of all the vendors and shoppers. Our shop is just a simple room where we keep our items. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes I need a ladder just to reach the stuff at the top. The floor is just plain concrete, and we have an old ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking noise. We don’t really have a big staff, just me and occasionally a helper if things get too busy. We don't bother with fancy displays or lighting. We just put our things out where people can see them. Most of our customers are people who live nearby and just happen to walk past. We spend a lot of time chatting with the other shop owners on the block. It feels more like a community than a business district. Sometimes the street gets flooded a bit when it rains hard, and we have to put everything on the higher shelves. It’s just one of those things you deal with. We don’t have any big plans; we just keep the shop open and take each day as it comes.
