Jasper Arts

If you find yourself in Kirti Nagar, look for the W.H.S. Furniture Block and you’ll see Jasper Arts at number 41. This area is famous for furniture and decor, so there’s always sawdust in the air and people hauling planks of wood or finished pieces. We do things a bit differently here, focusing on the more artistic side of things. Our space is filled with tools, sketches, and half-finished projects. It isn’t the cleanest shop you’ll ever see because creativity is a messy process. We’ve got bits of paint and wood shavings everywhere. We don’t have a script for how we talk to people; we just show them what we’re working on and see if it fits what they want. Sometimes we spend hours just trying to get a small detail right. It can be frustrating when something doesn't turn out, but that's just part of making art and functional pieces. We aren't a big factory with assembly lines. It's more about manual work and using our eyes. The light in the shop isn't great, but we've got a few bright lamps over the main work areas. We just keep our heads down and keep making things, hoping the people who buy them appreciate the effort. It’s a quiet kind of life inside the shop, even if the furniture block is loud outside. We just keep creating what feels right for the day.
