Anupma Art Gallery

Our gallery, Anupma Art Gallery, is located in the Tagore Garden area. We are actually quite close to the Tagore Garden Metro Station, which makes it easy for people to find us without too much trouble. It is a local spot where we keep different pieces of art and frames. The space isn't like those massive museums; it’s more of a neighborhood place where things are a bit more personal. We spend a lot of time arranging the displays and talking to people who walk in from the street. Being near the metro station means we get a mix of regulars and people just passing through. The atmosphere is generally quiet, which is nice for looking at the work we have on the walls. We don't have a big corporate staff, just us looking after the gallery and making sure everything stays in good shape. Sometimes we are busy with new arrivals, and other times we’re just sitting here with a cup of tea waiting for the next visitor. Tagore Garden is a nice residential area, so we see a lot of the same faces from around the block. It’s just a simple art space where we do our thing every day. We don't go for anything too fancy, just plain walls and some good lighting for the pieces we show. People seem to like that it’s just a normal place to see some art without any pressure.
