City X-Ray Clinic

We’ve got our setup here in Tilak Nagar. It’s a lively part of town, always people moving around outside on the sidewalks. The clinic itself is pretty straightforward. You walk in, sign the paper at the desk, and wait for your turn. We do X-rays, so there’s a lot of lead shielding and heavy doors everywhere. It’s not the most welcoming look, I guess, but it’s necessary for safety reasons. We keep the place clean, or at least we try to, even when it’s raining outside and everyone brings in mud. The waiting room isn’t huge. If four or five people show up at once, it feels a bit cramped. We have a small TV in the corner that’s usually playing some news channel or a movie, just to give people something to look at while they sit. We aren’t trying to be a five-star hotel. It’s a medical office. The goal is to get the images clear so the doctors can see what’s going on with the patients. Sometimes the printer jams and we have to fiddle with it for ten minutes. It’s annoying, but we get it fixed eventually. We’ve seen all sorts of people come through these doors over the years. Tilak Nagar has a lot of energy, and we just fit right into the mix of shops and businesses. We keep the hours pretty regular. It’s just honest work we do here, day in and day out, without any fuss. We just do the job.
