Started the shop in G-4 Janakpuri quite a while back. It’s mostly just frames and some art pieces leaned against the walls. People usually stop by when they have an old photo that needs a new look or when they’ve bought something on a trip and want it hung up properly. The place gets dusty because of the road outside, so we spend a lot of time wiping glass. It isn't a fancy showroom with spotlights or anything. Just a lot of wood molding stacked in the corner and the smell of glue. We know the neighbors pretty well now. Sometimes they just pop their head in to say hello while walking to the market. We have those big work tables where everything happens. It gets a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once. You have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a frame waiting to be picked up. Janakpuri has changed a lot, but this little spot in G-4 feels the same as it did years ago. It’s a lot of manual work, cutting the glass just right and making sure the corners meet up without a gap. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there waiting for the lights to come back so we can finish the backing. It’s a quiet life mostly, just working with our hands and seeing the pictures people bring in.
