Bharat Export Overseas, Gurgoan

This branch of Bharat Export Overseas, though we call it the Gurgaon office sometimes for business reasons, is actually located at 89B in the New DDA Flats. We are on the second floor of the Shivaji Enclave Extension, which sits in the Raghubir Nagar area of New Delhi, 110 027. It is a typical Delhi residential setup that we’ve turned into a workspace. Being on the second floor means we are constantly hauling things up and down the stairs, which keeps us busy. Raghubir Nagar is a very dense part of the city, and the Shivaji Enclave area is no different. You can hear everything from the street below—vendors, cars, and people going about their lives. Our office isn't much to look at. It’s got a few chairs, some old desks, and piles of documents related to our overseas shipments. We’ve been operating from this DDA flat for quite some time. It works for us because it’s right in the heart of the action. Most of the work involves coordinating between suppliers and the shipping ports. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. People who need to find us usually know the way through the enclave. It’s a small, tight-knit team here. We just put our heads down and handle the paperwork and the logistics as they come. There’s always someone drinking tea and talking on the phone about a shipment.
