Azad Steel Welding Works

Over here at Dwarka House No-461, you will find Azad Steel Welding Works. It is in Palam Extn, Sec-7. The place is usually full of iron rods and bits of steel waiting to be joined together. There is a lot of light from the sparks when we are working. It gets quite dusty because of all the grinding and cutting. We spend most of the day wearing our masks and handling the heavy tools. The shop is tucked away in the extension area so it stays fairly steady with local work. People bring us their broken gates or ask for new frames to be made. Sometimes it takes all day to get one piece right. We have some heavy tables where we lay everything out to measure. The floor is concrete and always has some scrap metal lying around in the corners. It is noisy work, honestly. The sound of the welding machine is something you get used to after a few hours. We keep the doors open to let the smoke out. It is just a honest day of laboring with metal. We do not have a big office or anything like that. It is just the workspace and the tools. If you are walking through Sec-7, you might hear us before you see us. We have been at this house number for a bit now. It is how we spend our time, just welding and fixing things up for the people nearby.
