Arttoon

Our small workspace is located at S18 in Uttam Nagar, right in the Vijay Vihar area. It is a bit of a climb to get up here, but it stays quiet enough for us to work on the drawings. Most of the room is taken up by desks and computer monitors that stay on until late at night. We spend most of our time here just moving pixels around or sketching out ideas on paper that usually ends up in a messy pile near the window. The walls are covered in some old sketches we never finished and some posters that have started to peel at the edges. It isn't some high-end studio with glass walls or modern furniture; it is more like a cluttered room where we focus on the screen for too many hours. Outside, Uttam Nagar is always loud with traffic and people walking to the local market, but inside we just have the sound of the fans and clicking mice. We often lose track of time when a project gets complicated or the software starts acting up. Sometimes the internet is slow and we end up just sitting around talking about what to eat for lunch from the shops downstairs. There is a small electric kettle in the corner for making coffee because we need it to keep going through the day. We don't really do big formal meetings here; people just drop in or we talk over the phone. It is just us doing what we know.
