Anushka Handicrafts

We are located at Anushka House in Uttam Nagar which is really just a part of Kiran Garden. It’s a residential-looking area so it doesn’t feel like a big factory or anything like that. Anushka Handicrafts is mostly run by a small group of us who have been doing this for years. The building is D-15 and you can usually tell which one it is by the smell of wood or the sound of someone polishing something in the back. It’s not a corporate office with fancy logos. We have a lot of raw materials sitting in the corners and the desks are usually covered in sketches or small tools. Some days are very slow and we just sit around drinking chai and talking about the weather. Other days are a complete mess with people running around trying to finish an order on time. The lighting isn't the best in the storage room but we know where everything is kept by memory. There’s a small park nearby where we sometimes take our lunch breaks when it’s not too dusty outside. It feels more like a workshop than a business office. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. It’s just us making things and hoping they turn out okay. Sometimes a neighbor stops by to complain about the noise or just to say hello. It’s a very local way of doing things.
