Allied India Overseas

We’ve been down here in the basement of West Patel Nagar for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially being so close to the 29 Block Gurudwara. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day while we get our work done. Allied India Overseas started out small and we’ve just kept at it, handling exports and trying to keep things organized. It’s not a fancy place, just some desks and a lot of paperwork. Most days we are busy tracking shipments or talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out or it gets a bit cramped, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We know most of the neighbors around here. It’s a good community and we like being part of it. The office is at 20/28, and if you know the area, you know it’s easy to find once you get near the Gurudwara. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen us around for years. It’s mostly about getting the job done and making sure things get where they need to go. We keep a pot of tea going and just focus on the daily tasks. It’s been a long journey from when we first moved into this basement space. We've seen the streets change quite a bit, but we’re still here doing our thing.
