Akash Handicrafts

Akash Handicrafts is located at Shop No. 16 in the Bg-8 section of the D.D.A. Market. We are in the B-3 Block area of Paschim Vihar. It is a typical local market shop. There are always people walking by, and you can hear the sounds of the other shops nearby. Our space is filled with all kinds of handcrafted items. It’s a bit tight inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. You have to be careful where you step sometimes. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just a shop where we work and show people what we have. Most of the customers are people from the neighborhood or folks who have been coming to this market for years. We spend a lot of time unwrapping items and putting them on display. It’s a lot of dusty work. Sometimes we sit on stools outside the shop when it’s quiet to catch a bit of fresh air. The market gets really lively in the evenings. We know most of the other shop owners around here. We help each other out when someone needs a hand with a heavy crate. It is a basic way of doing business, but it works for us. We just keep the shop open and handle whatever comes our way each day. It is a bit disorganized at times, but we know where everything is kept.
