Ajay Metal Industries

We've been here at Najafgarh Road Industrial Area for quite some time now. Dealing with metal is what we do every day at Ajay Metal Industries. It gets noisy and dusty here at number 24, but that is just the nature of the work. Most of the guys have been with us for years. We handle different types of metal orders. Sometimes the yard is overflowing with stock, and other times we are scrambling to get a specific gauge in for a regular. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us busy from morning until late. You learn a lot about how things are made when you see the raw materials coming in and out. People stop by the gate to ask about prices or if we have something specific in the back. We try to keep things organized, though in an industrial shed, that's easier said than done. The trucks come in through the main road, and there's always a bit of a queue during the peak hours. We just focus on getting the jobs done as they come. If someone needs a piece of metal cut or a bulk order sorted, we just get to it. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, honestly. There's no big secret to it, just showing up at the shop and handling the heavy stuff day after day. It is just a regular workplace really.
