A M P Fasteners is tucked away at Wz-25 in Tihar Village. If you have never been to this part of Tihar, it can be a little confusing to navigate the small lanes because everything looks similar. Our shop is not very large, and it is pretty much packed to the ceiling with metal bins. We deal with all sorts of fasteners, so there is always a clinking sound of metal on metal whenever we move anything around. It is not the cleanest place in the world because of all the iron and steel dust, but we try to sweep up every evening before we head home. The lighting is a bit dim because the building is quite old and only has a couple of small windows that let in light. We have a heavy iron door that we pull down at night to lock up the shop. Most of our customers are builders or people fixing things nearby who just need a handful of specific screws. We don't really do much online or have a fancy catalog. You just come in and tell us what you need, and we go find it in one of the back bins. It can get pretty cold in the winter because there is no heater, so we just wear extra sweaters and drink more tea. It is a simple, no-nonsense kind of place. We’ve been in the same spot for years. The other people in the village mostly know us by now and stop by to say hello while we are working.
