Yashodavalley Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Padasgaon, which is in the Deoli taluka of Wardha. We operate from Shri Mahadeo Chinduji Hude’s place, at house number 157. It’s a quiet village area and most of us have been farming here our whole lives. Setting up this producer company was just a way for us to stick together. Dealing with the markets and the seeds and everything else is a lot tougher when you are alone. In Wardha, the soil and the rain dictate how our year goes. We don't really do anything flashy. It's mostly just sitting down, looking at the accounts, and seeing how we can get our harvests to the right place. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that’s just how things are now. We have our small office setup and people from the village drop in whenever they need to discuss something about the fields. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity.
