Wardha Gramin Agro Producer Company Limited

Our group is over here in Deoli, specifically in the Kedar Layout area. We use Shri Dharmpal Yadavrao Nagarale’s place as our main point of contact. Wardha is known for being quite hot, and that pretty much dictates how we work. Most of us are local farmers who have lived in this area for generations. We decided to put this company together because doing things alone was getting harder every year. It’s not a corporate office with people in suits; it’s just a bunch of us sitting around a table in a layout that’s still growing. We deal with the usual crops grown in this part of the country, like cotton or soybeans. Some days we are busy checking the bags of produce, and other days we are just trying to figure out the government forms which always seem too complicated. The neighbors often drop by to see what’s going on. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what’s necessary to get the work done. It’s a lot of manual labor and making sure the accounts stay straight. Sometimes the power goes out, or the transport is late, but that is just how it is in Deoli. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the farmers around here get what they need to keep their farms running and their families fed after the harvest is done.
