Suhasani Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Mahagaon. We are located at C/O Sulochana Madhukar in the village of Ghodefulsawangi. This is a women’s group, which is why we have Mahila in the name. We are proud of that. We operate from Sulochana’s home, so it’s a very local and personal way of doing business. We don't have a corporate office with desks and cubicles. We just sit together and manage the company’s work. Ghodefulsawangi is a small place where farming is everything. We help the women farmers here to organize their crops and find better ways to sell them. Suhasani is a name that we all liked. It feels right for our group. We spend our days looking at the fields and then coming back to handle the admin stuff. It’s a lot of work, but we do it together. There is always tea and a lot of talking during our meetings. We don't use any fancy business language. We just speak plainly about what needs to be done. Yavatmal can be a hard place for farmers, so we try to stick together. Sulochana’s house is always busy with people coming and going. We don’t have any big ads. People know who we are and what we do. It’s a simple life, but we are making it work for our families. We just take things as they come and try to stay organized.
