Down in Dahigavan Bk, which is part of Ghansawangi, you’ll find us at House Number 143. That’s Atul Paraji Dahibhate’s place, and it’s also where Samarth Chandan Farmers Producer Company is registered. We mostly focus on sandalwood and other farm products that grow well in this soil. It’s not a big operation with glass windows or signs. It’s just us working out of a home office in the village. We talk to the local farmers every day because we’re out there with them. We set this up because it makes more sense to sell things together than to try and do it alone. The paperwork can be a headache sometimes, but we get through it. Life in the Tq Ghansawangi area is mostly about the farming cycles. We follow the seasons and try to make sure everyone involved gets a fair shake. Our setup is pretty basic, just some ledgers and a lot of phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get muddy, but we keep going. We aren't fancy people.
