Our place is situated at Survey No. 171 on the Seloo-Rehaki Road in Wardha. We are in the Mouza-Seloo area. This is a one-person company on paper, but it takes a few of us to keep the wheels turning. We focus on seeds. It’s a very basic business when you think about it. If you don’t have a good seed, you don’t have a crop. We spend a lot of time testing different batches and making sure they are stored in a way that they won't spoil. Wardha is known for its heat, and that makes our job pretty difficult during the peak of summer. The road outside is dusty and the building isn't anything to look at twice. We aren't interested in looking fancy. We just care about the quality of the seeds we provide to the farmers around here. We have old metal desks and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but that doesn't affect the work. People from the village often stop by to talk about their plans for the next season. We listen and we give our honest opinion. It’s a quiet life, mostly focused on the cycle of planting and harvesting. We don't have any big marketing slogans or flashy brochures. We just do our job and hope the seeds we provide grow into something good for everyone who uses them in their own fields.
