Ashwini Tent House

Ashwini Tent House is located at H. No -3-31 in Damarancmpalle, within the Chennapur area of Regonda in Warangal. Our place is basically a big storage area filled with stacks of folded tents, bright fabrics, and hundreds of plastic chairs. When there is a wedding or a festival in the village, we are usually up before dawn loading everything onto the carts or trucks. It is a lot of physical labor, hauling those heavy iron poles and making sure the canvas isn't torn. The yard at the house can get pretty crowded when all the equipment is back from a big event, and we have to spend time cleaning the mud off the stakes and drying out the cloth. You can usually find us sitting outside near the main gate, checking the list of upcoming dates or fixing a broken chair leg. In Warangal, the weather can be tough on the materials, so we are always patching things up or buying new rope. People from all over Regonda know us because our tents have been at almost every local function for years. It is not a glamorous job, and our hands are usually a bit rough from the ropes and the metal. We don't have a fancy office, just the house where we keep the gear and the trucks. When the music starts playing at an event we set up, we are usually already back at the house getting ready for the next one.
