Our office is tucked away in Gollalapalam, near the old central jail in Visakhapatnam. The address is D.No 29-36-10 and we share the space under the name of P.V.Sudheer. It is an interesting part of town with a lot of history nearby. The pin code is 520130, and we have been here for a while now. The building is solid and does the job. We have a lot of maps and blueprints lying around usually, given the nature of what we do. It isn't a polished corporate environment. There are stains on the floor from where we moved the heavy cabinets and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. But it feels like a real place of work. We get a lot of dust from the road sometimes so we are always wiping down the desks. The walk to the main road is short, which is good for catching a bus. Inside, the air is usually thick with the sound of people talking and phones ringing. We don't have a fancy lounge or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some tea bags. It is a practical office for practical people. The location near the old jail makes it easy for people to find us when they are visiting for the first time. We just stay busy and keep the operations running from this little corner of Visakhapatnam.
