Rakesh Public School

Our school is located right at Plot No 115 in the One Town area of Vijayawada. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. Rakesh Public School has been part of this neighborhood for years. The streets here are narrow, and there’s always a lot of noise from the markets nearby, but that’s just how it is in 520001. We have kids coming in from all the nearby streets. Most of them walk here or get dropped off on a cycle. The school building is a straightforward structure. It’s got enough rooms for the classes, and we try to keep it cool during those really hot Vijayawada summers. It isn't easy, but we manage. The staff here are mostly locals who understand the families living around One Town. We don’t really do much in the way of big events; it’s mostly just the daily routine of classes and exams. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows and keep going. The kids are used to it. We see them growing up from small children into teenagers, which is quite something. There isn't any big secret to how we run things. We just open the gates in the morning and do our jobs. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. No one expects anything too grand, just a place for the children to learn their lessons and play a bit.
