Navabharat Public School

You can find Navabharat Public School tucked away in 4th Lane over in Krishna Lanka. We are right in Vijayawada, pincode 520013. This part of town is pretty packed with houses and small shops, so it feels very much like a community. Our school building is not huge, but it fits us just fine. Every morning the lane gets a bit crowded with parents dropping off their kids on scooters. We have a small gate that we open up right at the start of the day. Vijayawada can get incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the water coolers are full and the fans are working. It is a bit of a struggle sometimes when the electricity acts up, but we just carry on with the lessons. The staff here are mostly from around this area, so we know the families pretty well. We do not have a big PR team or anything like that; it is just us teachers and the office staff keeping things moving. We spend our breaks talking in the small staff room or checking the notebooks. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they have character and plenty of history. It is a busy, slightly loud, but honest place to be. Living and working in Krishna Lanka means you are never lonely because there is always someone passing by the 4th Lane entrance. We are just a normal neighborhood school.
