Kift College is situated right on the New By Pass Road in Vellore. If you are coming from the Chennai-Bangalore highway, you will find us near the bypass. Vellore is a town that gets very hot, so our days usually revolve around finding a bit of shade and keeping the fans running. The college building sits near the main road, so there is always the sound of trucks and cars passing by in the distance. It is a very functional place. We are here to provide a space for students to learn technical skills that can help them get jobs. We don't have fancy lounges or high-end cafes; it is mostly about the labs and the classrooms. Students come from all over the Vellore district, some traveling quite a distance on the buses that stop along the bypass. The atmosphere is generally quiet as people are focused on their work. You will see students sitting in groups in the corridors, talking about their projects or upcoming exams. We have been at this location for some time now, and we have become a familiar sight for people commuting along the highway. It’s an honest, no-frills kind of place. We just provide the space and the equipment, and the students put in the effort. It is a practical step for many young people in this area. It isn't a place for show, just a place for getting things done.
