Auxilium College

Our college is located on 43rd West Cross Road in the M.G.R. Nagar section of Katpadi, over in Vellore. It is a well-known spot in this part of Tamil Nadu. The campus has been at this location for quite some time, and you can see that in the large trees and the style of the older buildings. We have large classrooms with high ceilings that really help to keep the heat away during the hot summer months. There are always people walking along the paths between the different departments throughout the day. It is a big place, so there is a lot of ground to cover for the staff and the students who come here. We have a central office where the main administration happens, and it is always full of people looking for specific forms or asking questions about their class fees. The atmosphere is generally quite calm, though it picks up a lot during the lunch hour when everyone heads to the common areas. We have plenty of benches under the shade of the trees where students like to sit and read or talk. The library is a favorite spot for many because it is the quietest place on the grounds. We do not use a lot of flashy technology here, just the stuff that actually works for teaching. Most of us who work here live nearby in Katpadi or the main Vellore town. It is just a regular part of the local community.
