You can find us at No. 4 on 1st Street in Raja Nagar. We are right across from the Coimbatore Stock Exchange, so it’s easy to locate the building. Vela Overseas Tradelink Pvt. Ltd. is basically an office where we manage trading and shipping. It’s not very exciting to look at. Just a bunch of desks, computers, and files. We spend a lot of time on the phone with people from different places. Sometimes the time zones make it tricky, so someone is usually here early or staying late. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many files from over the years. We keep meaning to clear them out but never get around to it. The tea stall downstairs is where we spend our breaks. It's a professional enough environment but we don't wear suits or anything. We just dress comfortably for the heat. Dealing with overseas stuff means a lot of waiting for emails to come back. We have a small team and everyone knows their job. The street outside is always busy with people going to the exchange. It can be hard to find a parking spot if you come after nine in the morning. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a lot of coordinating and making sure the paperwork is correct before anything gets sent out to the ports.
