Vasu Exports

Vasu Exports is based at 69 Mc Nichols Road in Chetpet. It’s a nice enough area, though the traffic on Mc Nichols Road can be a bit much in the evenings. Our office is in an older building that has a lot of character, though the elevator is a bit temperamental sometimes. We usually just take the stairs. Inside, it’s mostly desks and stacks of shipping documents. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at the computers. It’s not a very glamorous job, mostly just coordinating between the suppliers and the shipping agents. We have a small pantry where we make coffee. The view from the window is just the street and the trees lining the road. We’ve been at this address for several years now. Everyone has their own way of doing things, and it can get a bit cluttered with all the samples we keep. We try to stay organized but when three shipments arrive at once, the whole place turns into a warehouse for a day. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering phones to packing boxes if we have to. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one by the entrance. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work. We just show up and do what needs to be done to get the orders out. That is how the weeks go by for us.
